There are many websites available with information about storytelling, with stories to read and listen to, with products to purchase, and with information about storytellers and events throughout the world.  Below are listed a few of my favorites.  For more sites, type in "storytelling" in a search engine, and be amazed at what you will find!

www.Storyteller.net is a wonderful site, both for storytellers and for those who just want to listen to a story.  For storytellers, you can find articles about storytelling, about the business of storytelling, and free webpages to advertise your own talents.  For audiences, you can find a list of many stories to listen to, told by professional storytellers, and you can find contact information about tellers in your area.

www.story-lovers.com  is a  resource for storytellers, teachers, librarians--anyone who wants to locate a story on a particular topic.  The site also has products available with lovely illustrations from many stories.

www.storynet.org is the website for the National Storytelling Network.  On it you will find detailed information about national festivals, events and conferences.

www.timsheppard.co.uk is hosted by a wonderful storyteller, teacher and researcher in the United Kingdom.  It is chock full of useful information, including a list of links to other sites and a description of what you will find there.  To get to the links list, click on: www.timsheppard.co.uk/story/tellinglinks.html .
